GOTD is Glasses of the Day - a prescription eyewear brand built to cater for the fashion savvy frame wearer who demands premium quality glasses, which don't break the bank.

In an ever growing world of online shopping, we saw a gap for an online store that could provide expert glasses advice from the comfort of your own home. Are you the person that would try on frames in a retail opticians but feel very conscious of everyone around you? Or had so many choices that you ended up choosing a frame that you've grown to regret later? We're here for you. Founded by Opticians, GOTD will help to inform your choices every step of the way, without you having to feel any unnecessary pressure to purchase.

The GOTD Optometrist serves patients and provides eye care on a daily basis, and quickly realised that this duty of care should be available to patients online too. She is available for live consultations at a time to suit you for all of your eye care needs.

You will notice our selection of frames is very small. Small but significant. We have worked tirelessly with design teams to bring you styles which are unique, and we hope will appeal to those of you who like to stand out from the crowd. If you usually prefer more simpler styles we may not be for you, however our frame selection will generally suit most face and bridge shapes. All GOTD frames are handmade using the highest quality materials sourced from reputable eyewear manufacturers around the world.

For those of you who require a prescription, we challenge you to find someone who can do a better job of glazing your frames. As well as using lenses manufactured by industry leaders, our lab technicians are highly skilled, perfecting your frames to the finest detail. We have provided a range of lens options, whilst still trying to keep the site easy to navigate - feel free to contact us if there's anything you need further information on.

Finally, as you browse our site, we hope you will join our strong ethos to be environmentally friendly in your choices. All our frames are produced from 95% recyclable materials, and our Habitat collection contains frames made from natural materials to help conserve our planet. Single use plastic is limited in all our packaging.
